We have been collectors of antiques and vintage treasures for over 10 years and it is our hope to share our love and passion of pieces from the past with others – which is why Vintage Miscellanea was created.
We sell a myriad of unique vintage memorabilia.
Our daughter introduced us to the idea of selling vintage clothing because she says, "vintage clothing is the best” as in style, quality, color and just overall.
Much of her wardrobe is vintage and she receives many compliments of her fashion style by mixing vintage with contemporary styles which makes a wonderful look.
All of our articles and clothing are carefully selected.
Considerable time and effort is spent selecting, cleaning, pressing and, if possible, making minor repairs to the clothing to enable us to deliver you quality and beautiful garments.
If there are garments which cannot be hand washed or machine laundered, then we
do not
dry clean and will leave that to the new owner.
Most of our vintage clothing are “estate finds” which may mean they have been tucked away in a closet or attic for years just waiting to be re-discovered.
Some may have the typical “closet odor” from not being worn; these we will freshen them up by hanging them outdoors for several days before listing.
This is only done if garment cannot be laundered and will be noted in the listing.
VINTAGE DISCLAIMER – 5 Facts
1.
Vintage articles are most likely used and old and may show possible signs of age or wear. This will be noted in the description and photographs.
2.
Vintage Clothing is 20 years old or older (pre-1992) and has most likely been worn, unless the original tags are still attached.
Because some garments have been worn, normal wear is to be expected as they are, after all, pre-owned.
3.
We describe and photograph the garment to the best of our knowledge and ability. Research is done to help us provide the best possible description and date of the garment.
Any flaws or imperfections will be noted in the description.
4.
SIZING
- The garments are measured flat and then doubled.
If material has stretch, we will measure it unstretched and stretched.
We use inches for measurements.
REMEMBER,
these are the garment’s approximate measurements.
It is
highly
recommended to take a garment that fits you, measure it flat and double to see how it compares.
We cannot rely solely on the size stated on the garment’s tag as vintage sizes differ from today’s sizes.
Contemporary sizes can vary as well.
We will notes the tag size if there is one, as well as the measurements.
5.
Garments are modeled on a model or a clothing mannequin.
If the clothes are too large, they are fitted on both to give you an accurate idea of its appearance.

Items will be shipped within three (3) business days after full payment has been received via PayPal.

If no payment has been received after
four (4) days
of the close of auction, an ‘unpaid item claim’ will be filed with eBay.
