For your consideration is a spectacular solid black (N2) opal from the top shelf of my personal collection. It features BRILLIANT top-gem (4.99/5) blue, green, and orange.  The pattern is something of a ribbon pattern. The buff-top, freeform cut gem weighs 2.47 carats.   It measures 15 mm long by 11.5 mm wide by 3mm deep. This ripper is half-price due to a few potch freckles, visable in the photos & video.  There are also a few shallow  clay spots on the back.  This one has been in my possession more than a decade, with  no cracks or crazing.  As ever, this is an untreated, ALL-NATURAL gemstone.
