Pebeo XL Oil Colors - A high quality student oil, XL Oil provides colours that are bright and deep in a smooth, fine paste and a fast drying time. XL is suitable for all techniques, from glazing to working in thick layers and is supported by a range of Pebeo mediums and auxillary products.
Designed to meet the needs of contemporary artistic expression while being affordable, these oils are ideal for studies and larger works. They provide intense, permanent colors that resist thermal and photo-oxidation. They dry to the touch approximately three to six days after an average application. They perform well with a variety of techniques, from glazes to thick layers and may be used in conjunction with the mediums and auxiliaries. The Glacis glazes are formulated to be transparent and ready to use without adding a medium. The Dyna colors are formulated with interference pigments that allow the colors to change depending on the angle of light refraction. All of these colors are compatible with each other and offer a multitude of mixtures. Suitable for canvas, cardboard, wood and more.
