The
Electrodyne 2501
is a dual-mono pair of two-stage discrete transistor, transformer-coupled preamps with active DI, using classic early ’70s design technology. Each amp stage is individually optimized for peak performance using Electrodyne factory engineering notes and selected high-performance components identical to the originals. The transformers are made by Electrodyne’s original manufacturer to exacting factory specifications. The active DI circuit presents an almost immeasurable load to sensitive musical instrument outputs allowing incredibly accurate capture of the instruments true tone. The output of the DI circuit is designed to directly connect and interact with the mic input transformer to allow maximum tone options.

Maximum Gain: 68 dB adjustable over 50 dB in 2 dB steps with two ranges using 20 dB pad
Output level control: Infinitely adjustable from 0 (off) to +6 dB over unity
Input impedance: Microphone, 50 / 200 ohms selectable. DI, over 7 megohms
Output impedance: 150 ohms
Distortion: 0.02% typical over entire gain range.
Maximum output: +30 dB at less than 0.8% THD (+29.5 dB at 0.06% THD)
Frequency response: ±0.25 dB, 10 Hz to 60 kHz
Signal to noise: -80 dB typ, -60 dB at absolute maximum gain
Clip indicator: Monitors all three amp stages and illuminates when any stage is 3 dB from clip

Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping to the lower 48 states Via FedEx. All of our items ship via FedEx. On checkout, it may look like you are selecting a UPS shipping method, but the item will be shipped via the equivalent FedEx method.
Import Duties and Tax
Since import taxes and/or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States may apply, you (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.
Undeliverable/Rejected Package
If your package was rejected by your local Customs Bureau or the shipment could not be delivered and was returned to Vintage King Audio for any reason, we are not responsible for the shipping costs.
Free Extended Warranty
All new items that Vintage King carries are subject to our FREE extended warranty protection. Basically, if the manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on your product, then you are covered under the same warranty terms for a total of 2 years from the time of initial shipment. Likewise, if the manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty, then you receive a total of 6 years of coverage when purchased through Vintage King. We add 1 year to your standard manufacturer's warranty period, FREE of charge, whatever the manufacturer's warranty period may be.
Duties and tax for warranty and damage replacement items
International Duties and tax for warranty and damage replacement items may apply. Even though you may have paid shipping, taxes or duty on your original order, it is IMPORTANT to understand that your government may impose duties and taxes for warranty items or replacement items damaged during shipment from the United States for the new order. You (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.

Vintage King offers an industry-leading level of technical service and warranty support on our used and vintage items. Our used item warranty periods are as follows:
Analog Outboard Gear – 1 Year
Microphones – 1 Year (excluding capsules, tubes, and ribbon elements)
Speakers – 1 Year (excluding drivers)
Digital Outboard Gear – 30 Days
Return Policy
We do our best to help you choose the perfect gear, but if you don't love it in the first 30 days after receipt, please contact us through eBay for a return authorization.
