Consequently, some of the outer coating of the donut may smear on the plastic. During the hot summer months it is not unheard of for the package to get too warm when shipped to places like California, Arizona, Texas, etc. If you live in a hot climate, we would discourage you from purchasing donuts or other pastries during the summer, as temperatures inside shipping trucks can be well above the outside temperature. The vast majority of our customers understand this and have been very happy with their products. While our bakery products are well-packaged and identified as “perishable”, we are not responsible for the actions of careless postal workers who mistreat your package.
