Directions
Directions: Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of warm tap water (110 degrees – 115 degrees F), add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and wait 10 minutes for mixture to foam. When mixing yeast directly with flour (not dissolved), add liquids warmed to 120 degrees F. Follow recipe carefully. For best results, set covered dough in a warm place (80 degrees – 85 degrees F) to rise. For bread machines use liquids at 80 degrees F. Add liquids, then dry ingredients to the pan. Add yeast last and do not let it come in direct contact with salt or sugar. Active dry yeast should not be used in short bread machine cycles. Store in refrigerator. Use within 4 months of opening.
